How does a Digital Prepaid Gift Card work?
The Pays-Enabled Prepaid Gift Card will be delivered to your mobile phone via SMS, or via QR Code.
Once you have followed the steps to activate, you can make purchases in-store using the mobile’s NFC “tap and go” function.
The Prepaid Gift Card must be activated within the time frame listed and is valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the Pays-Enabled Prepaid Gift Card any unused balance will be forfeited.
How do I activate the card?
If you have been sent an SMS with your activation code, click the link in the text message and follow the prompts.
The card must be activated within the time frame listed in the SMS.
If you have been provided a QR Code Entry Card, please scan the QR Code using your mobile device and follow the steps to redeem:
- Scan QR Code
- Download Vault Payments App
- Enter Details
- Add Card to Digital Wallet to spend.

Where can I use the Digital Prepaid Gift Card?
- The card can only be used at the Shopping Centre from where it was issued.
- The shopping centre will be listed in the SMS and on the Gift Card itself.
Can I make a purchase that is a greater amount than the value on my Digital Prepaid Gift Card?
- Your purchase must be equal to, or less than the value on your card otherwise payment will be declined.
- If in store you can ask the cashier to ‘split’ the payment between the value of your Vault card followed by a second payment method.
How do I know how much value is left on the digital gift card.
The cards remaining value can be found in the Vault Payments App.
I am tapping the card to pay and it isn’t working?
To transact in store, the card needs to be added to the Apple, Google or Samsung Wallets. Select “Add card to wallet” in the Vault.
Where are the terms and conditions?
My phone doesn’t support Contactless payments. What do I do now?
The reward is a digital Gift Card and can only be used in-store once added to an NFC enabled mobile phone digital ‘wallet.’
